The Edge Construction, is excited to showcase their latest project: the transformation of the historic Varsity Theater in Evanston into modern living spaces. The theater, which operated as a leading movie house in Chicagoland from 1926 until 1984, has been repurposed to include three levels of residential units. The project highlights The Edge Construction's precision and expertise, featuring wood trusses and load-bearing metal framing to support the new living spaces. Future residents of the 35 units can expect spacious layouts, innovative features, and a design that respects the building's original legacy.
